PRESCHOOL SERVICES

At PAP Community Foundation (PCF), we improve lives and communities in Singapore. Our goal is simple: to enhance individuals’ well-being through our dedicated efforts. We are the largest preschool operator in Singapore. We have over 360 centres across the island. We offer affordable, top-notch early childhood care and education to over 40,000 children. They come from various backgrounds.

Looking ahead to the next two years, we want to stay ahead of the curve in early childhood education. The demand for full-day services is rising, and we are attuned to this shift. We want to adapt to evolving preferences and emerging education trends. We tailor our offerings to suit the changing needs of families.

At the heart of our educational philosophy is a comprehensive curriculum. We emphasise essential life skills, positive learning dispositions, and school readiness. We commit to innovation. We plan to expand our range of initiatives. This includes programmes like STEMIE. STEMIE stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention and Entrepreneurship. Through STEMIE, we are dedicated to giving children exposure and the opportunity to solve real-world problems.

We are bridging generations through intergenerational programmes at our preschools. We are working with our Sparkle Care Senior Care Centres, amongst others, in this collaboration. Thoughtful programming and designed activities combine children’s energy and seniors’ wisdom. This creates enriching experiences for both.

As we enter 2024 and 2025, we will use our expertise in inclusive education. Additionally, we will use our knowledge in intergenerational programmes. We will develop our offerings to meet the unique requirements of diverse learning groups. We will focus on vulnerable ones through strategic partnerships. For example, we work with organisations like NUH, KKH, and KidSTART.

Our vision is to ensure that everyone can access top-notch preschool services. This should happen regardless of financial circumstances and backgrounds.

SENIOR CARE SERVICES

At PCF, we go beyond preschool education.

We also extend our support to eldercare services and community outreach programmes. Our focus is on promoting active ageing and making a social impact.

As we look ahead, our vision includes making significant strides in the senior care space. We want to meet the growing needs of our seniors. We currently operate 7 Senior Care Centres island-wide. We cater to over 800 clients. We are excited to announce that we will add the 8th PCF Sparkle Care Centre in Bukit Panjang. Operations are set to begin in 2024.

We are also expanding our footprint in the active ageing space.

Since October 1, 2022, we have been delivering active ageing services to seniors in four vibrant communities under the Transition Grant (TG) scheme . These communities are Yew Tee, Shunfu, Braddell Heights and Eunos.

Looking ahead to 2024 and 2025, we want to increase our coverage in the active ageing and eldercare space exponentially. We want to ensure that more seniors benefit from our proactive and caring approach.

At PCF, we want to create a future where everyone experiences support, connection and a thriving community.

This future should be available to people of all ages.

CHARITY

Our PCF Charity Division, also known as Sparkle Charity, is making significant strides.

As we press forward towards 2024 and 2025, our primary focus is to provide support for the vulnerable. This includes children, seniors and families.

We will fund and expand our range of initiatives. These initiatives cover a variety of engaging excursions and opportunities for children. Some examples include pottery sessions, cajon classes and visits to theatre. These programmes allow the children to be inspired and express themselves creatively.

Through these experiences, children develop a well-rounded perspective. They also cultivate their artistic and intellectual growth. We aspire to ensure that these opportunities are accessible to all children.

We will adopt an organisation-wide approach to our CSR efforts in the next five years.

We will reach out to more communities. We will provide financial help, donate food and supplies, and volunteer our time.

Everyone has something to offer, and we can all make a difference.

Together, we create a more just and equitable society for everyone.
